Our employees are so important to us at Orbit that we began referring to them as associates. After all, we are all partnering to grow the business. Our associate’s lives and the lives of their families are important to us as well. With this being said we work hard to provide a good work life balance to our associates. The following is an overview of the company benefits package. We will explain all your options in more detail if you are offered a position with us.

Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance is available to all full-time associates. Eligibility for non-seasonal positions is immediate and effective the first of the month following date of hire. We offer a choice of networks, as well as coverage options. As an added bonus to the benefits package we have implemented a Health Saving Account for those interested.

Basic Term Life Insurance is provided by the Company at no charge to associates and is available to all full-time associates. Coverage is also available to spouse and dependents at no charge.

Supplemental Term Life Insurance the company provides you the opportunity to purchase additional voluntary life insurance coverage at a reasonable rate. Coverage is also available to spouses and dependents.

Short-Term Disability is provided by the Company at no charge to associates and covers all full-time associates who have completed 12 months of continuous service. The coverage is for an associate’s illness or injury.

Long-Term Disability is provided by the Company at no charge to associates and covers all full-time associates who have completed 60 days of continuous service.

401(k) Profit Sharing Plan is available to all associates. There are two entrance periods each year, January 1 and July 1. Associates may elect to defer any amount of their gross earnings each year up to the standard limit the IRS establishes. The Company may elect to match a portion of an associate’s deferred amount. The Company match is funded into the plan after the end of each year. Associates are eligible for the match once they have completed 12 months of continuous service, are at least 21 years of age, and who work at least 1,000 hours per calendar year.

Paid Holidays are available to all full-time associates and effective immediately. There are 8 paid holidays per year. They are as follows: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Pioneer Day (July 24th), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Paid Time Off (PTO) is available to all full-time associates. PTO begins accruing on the date of hire.

Wellness Program you may choose to participate in individual or team wellness initiatives that offer incentives for healthy lifestyle choices.

Employee Discounts we offer employee discounts on several of our products.

Community Involvement we offer our associates opportunities to be more involved in their communities by way of company sponsored events and promotions.
