| Description: | To provide phone and email support for the Orbit Sprinkler System Designer program(s) and support Orbit's other marketing initiatives such as blogging, web site optimization, e-commerce, merchandising and copywriting. This internship will provide the opportunity for candidates to participate in a variety of marketing activities for an industry leading, international company. |
| Duties: | • Become familiar with the Orbit Sprinkler System Designer (OSSD) and answer incoming phone and email inquiries from customers using the tool • Work with the Online Marketing Manager, Marketing Operations Manager and the broader marketing team to update and improve web content, improve product and program merchandising and copywriting • Work with the Online Marketing Manager, to coordinate and manage e-commerce within our current account base • Participate in the development and deployment of content used in Orbit's social media sites including Facebook, Twitter and other sites |
| Qualifications: | - Prior customer service experience
- Experience in web optimization
- Prior experience working with social media
- Creative writing abilities
- Must be a self-starter
- Must be pursuing Bachelor's degree at accredited college/university with expected graduation by May 2014 - Business/Marketing preferred though not required
- Full-time temporary position for May - August 2012
- Potential part-time ongoing position depending upon results and performance
