| Description: | The Forecast & Inventory Analyst is a member of the inventory department and is responsible for managing Orbit Irrigation inventories within the consignment warehouse system as well as finding solutions to meet company goals for inventory turns, fill rate and other company metrics. These objectives will be accomplished by (1) developing and maintaining accurate inventory plans (2) monitoring sales and forecast fluctuations to ensure that appropriate inventory levels are maintained and (3) reducing current inventories of excess/discontinued products. This is an entry level position.

| Duties: | •Analyze consignment warehouse inventory and take necessary action
•Use 30/60/90 Day Report and Inventory Surplus Report to ensure adequate inventory is available to support the sales without creating excess inventory
•Monitor inventory to analyze the effects of forecast changes & variances
•Coordinate activities between purchasing, sales, forecasting and marketing
•Review, report, and react to significant forecast and supply variances
•Work with sales and operations to ensure that sufficient inventory plans are set for new products and products that had low fill-rate in the prior year
•Must be able to communicate at all levels within the business including with various levels of management and/or all applicable departments about demand and supply trends, expectations, and issues

| Qualifications: | •Prior inventory and supply chain experience preferred
•Prior customer service, and process creation & improvement experience a plus
•Effective and strong communicator
•Positive “can do” attitude
•Ability and desire to work well with others – a team and relationship builder
•A track record of solving problems
•Advanced computer systems and PC software skills (Excel, Word, SQL)
•B.S. in Business Administration or equivalent is helpful, or related experience.
