Orbit Irrigation, a multi-national organization, is looking for an experienced Production Engineer to join our ProMold team.

Continuously improve productivity, quality, delivery performance and safety through skillful leadership, training and mentoring practices using basic engineering, manufacturing & quality principles.
Identify improvement opportunities and implement improvements:
- Evaluate production capabilities; examine equipment, processes & methods, employee performance to assess quality and cost effectiveness. Identify gaps and drive improvements to resolve them. Develop, implement and improve methods, processes and controls.
-Audit parts and products regularly. Through this means, be aware of quality and production issues and needs and resolve them real time.
Troubleshoot and resolve urgent production and quality problems. Using the DMAIC and other troubleshooting models for more complex issues.
Provide leadership and training to promote and ingrain best practices with employees.
Ensure that each line and station has adequate control plans to achieve quality and cost objectives.
BS Degree - Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent degree & experience.
1-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
A working knowledge of lean and 6 sigma manufacturing principles and experience applying them in a workplace setting.
