| Description: | The Mold Maintenance Tech / Machinist works in a team environment to ensure that molds are maintained, repaired, and improved. A good mechanical aptitude, machining skills and a can-do attitude are a must for this position. Also an understanding of fits and mating surfaces.

| Duties: | -Ensure that molds run the first time they are set up;
-Perform routine, preventative and corrective maintenance on molds;
-Diagnose / troubleshoot problematic molds solicit and offer suggestions on how to properly repair and correct molds;
-Fabricate replacement parts and some tooling utilizing machine tools and shop equipment;
-Maintain an organized, clean, safe work environment;
-Continuously improve the condition of molds and their performance;
-Continuously improve the work environment, infrastructure and procedural aspects of the job;
-Involve team members to ensure that proper corrections are made to molds.

| Qualifications: | -Must have 5 years machining and tooling related experience or have completed a machinist or mold maintenance apprenticeship or certification program;
-Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of fits and mating surfaces;
-Must have a strong work ethic;
-Must be team oriented with good communication skills.
